oh my gosh! that's awesome! i was just talking to my husband yesterday about caring for kids in my home - i don't know that i would want to be a licensed home daycare, but i've had a couple of offers from people wanting me to watch their children and i've considered it. i guess if i did that then i would consider myself a "babysitter" instead of a daycare - although i would get paid significantly more than the typical babysitter due to my experience/education.

it can be very profitable and if i don't get a job out of the home soon then i will look into that further. the inquiries i've had were from people who don't want to put their children in daycares because of the low standards (as opposed to because of the high price) so they are williing to pay a pretty penny. i do love working with kids, but i'd rather work out of the home if i can.
