| Wow you have a very good way of looking at things/life! Good for you Quote:

By becoming a doctor for instance, your main goal in life is to help and heal others. You care and are concerned with their well being. You concern yourself with their health and their environment. You want others to know how deeply you care and support them. I feel that is how most of the members are on YT. They care so much about this breed, that they offer advice and when the advice is not taken to heart, it hurts. When you have been a member of something for a period of time and you hear the same questions over and over and nobody is listening, you get frustrated and that's when it turns nasty.
I think when the day comes that I feel like I can't help others in a positive manner, then that should be the day when I place myself on mute. I know it is difficult because I commented on that thread; the first page. I then noticed how aggressive it became and chose not to post any further comments.
I joined YT, because I am a first time yorkie owner and it was the best place to educate myself about this breed. I have learned so much and I am so grateful to those that have been generous with their time for getting me through certain stages in my furbabies young life. I am not afraid to ask questions. If someone chooses to answer them in a respectful manner, that's great. I can say I have never been disrespected. However, if someone chooses to be disrespectful, I choose to ignore it and move on.
I have been in customer service for 30 years. If a customer was rude or nasty, I knew it wasn't because of me. They have something else in their life that has them upset.
I hate to hear there are some members that are afraid to post something or ask a question. I know this is an open forum, with many personalities and it does take time to get to know one another. As for myself, I will help as many members as I am able to and will do so with respect. |
