It's the liquid from the vax that pools up under the skin. it helps to massage it daily until it goes away. Uni's took a few weeks to show up, and a few months(!) to go away. Katies showed up almost immediately and went away in about 1 1/2 weeks. I think the difference is bc Uni is so thin and Katie is a little butterball.
