I have no problem saying where I am from or other things about me , but I was raised that it is rude to ask someone how much they paid for something * I guess a dog included *
I don't know if that is included.

I think everyone is different , meaning : Some people will have a problem saying what they paid, others wont. For me ,I just would not ask, but I wouldn't hold anything against anyone who would .
