Okay, I was talking a while ago about the idea that if you get a criticism, the average person needs to get seven pieces of praise to overcome the negative feeling created by the criticism.
SO, here's my idea: you can either say ONE nice thing about the poster above you, or you can say SEVEN. If you say SEVEN, you can make one complaint.
For instance for me, someone could write:
- Best Banner in the Banning thread.
- Wonderfully patient with training her dumb-as-rocks doggie.
- Dumb doggie is super cute.
- Great at taking pictures of doggie.
- Always diplomatic.
- Hilarious.
- Supportive of other posters.
And then as a complaint, of course, it would be:
- YT is no fun without me.
What do you say? This could be a bad idea, but I think it could be a lot of fun if done in the right spirit. The only thing is, someone has to say one (or seven) nice things about me to kick it off. And then we're up and running.
