I too considered breeding, and ultimately decided against it. The people here on yorkietalk were WONDERFUL about educating me and helping me make the decision. I would definitely find a mentor if at all possible. My personal suggestion would be to only breed to a male that is smaller than your female, because that will help with the chances of a c section being needed.
Also, if you're asking this now, I would question having your girl bred so soon. It is your choice, but if you haven't done all the strongly suggested testing and research, I recommend doing it and putting off the breeding session.
