I know it is very tempting to get a second dog now and no reason not to get a second one, but the one you have is still a puppy and you have lots of puppyhood left to enjoy. Are you sure you are ready for all the baths and grooming of both dogs?
On the flip side, at least you would each have a lap dog and may not have to share!
