That reminds me of a question I have been wanting to ask. And I'm not trying to steal a thread - I think it is in the same vein.
I give my dogs a little treat when they come inside from going potty. If they, like Reesie, refuse to listen and come in when called do I NOT give them a treat when they finally do come in? Seems like there would be no motivation for listening if rewarded every time for coming through the door. |
