i graduated from high school a year early and lost contact with all my friends and teachers well about a year and a half later i started getting in touch with everyone again
when i did i told all my "baby" Gatsby who was (at the time)6 months old (just enough time for me to have had a baby if i was pregnant when i disappeared) and being that i was always the very studious one in school. people wear shocked then as happy as could be i would show them pics
most time the answer was "oh its just a dog"
more then once i got upset and walked away or hug up the phone then i realized it was relief not dismissal i was hearing.
