We got cat-break-aways but he takes them off when he leaves the house or goes down to the basement to work. Then he won't put them back on. I get home from work and have to put them on myself while listening to him talk about how I wasn't the one there and how he never wants to go through that again. I finally gave up. Fortunately the little town we moved to only has about 300 people in it and everyone has seen me walking the dogs and most of them have stopped me to talk about them so if anyone gets out I'm pretty sure they would be brought back to my house. Traffic is also pretty light with 25 mph speed limits. (Of course that didn't keep me from running over a cat a few months ago!) Sigh.
