I believe that the Prebiotics cause this product to remain in the gut 24/7 if dosed daily, allowing it to be dosed with the food instead of prior to feeding. In a normally functioning system, they would all be present at the same time, bacteria remains in the gut, enzymes introduced as food is eaten, triggering the pancreas to release enzymes and the gall bladder to release bile to aid digestion.
yeah i am not a big fan on dog products lolllll for this anyway. Another person started their dog on this product and it had diarrhea when the dog never had diarrhea before. I have just always been told probiotics are to be given 20-30 min before food to coat the stomach prior to food being introduced and then enzymes are only to be given to dogs not on raw diet as raw diets have natural enzymes so you add the enzymes to cooked food and processed food to help them digest them faster. I just think they do not use as high of quality of stuff many times in dog items. I could be wrong but just what i have read in being on dog nutrition groups on yahoo.com
