Great, and I think you are wise to use it as a training aid and reinforce the positive behavior. I think if it's only used as an aversive devise, they will become accustomed to it and learn to ignore it. I also like the word "uhuh" I think it works better than the term, "no bark". It has more of a "guttural" sound, and dogs are said to pay attention to the throatier sounds better. I hope you share these training tips with others.
