For a very young pup, use their kibble, if they like it well enough, just until you are sure you are not going to be dealing with a fussy eater, or allergies.
Just a suggestion, but if you end up with some type of "trouble" and have tried 10 different treats, you may not know what caused it. For a month or so, it is worth it. I know it is hard to resist getting them, "something special". Or ask the breeder what she fed!
