You know Lou when I sat down to write about what happened I thought about your thread about Adie as well as the collar/no collar debate. It really made me think about what would have happened if they did not have on their collar and tags. What if whoever picked that up didn't know about microchipping? I know that PAWS (our shelter) would have been able to locate me since that is where they were chipped at last summer (Pebbles is not chipped yet
) but they would have had to take them there to be scanned. I could have been hours before that happened. I'm positive that by then I would have either died from a heart attack or been committed! We didn't even know they were gone and they were able to get so far!
I know that there is always a chance that something could happen but I have never been so happy for a collar and tags when I got that first phone call today.
Again I would like to thank everyone for all of your support and posts for Pebbles, Doodlebug and Bogey. I've been doing nothing but giving kisses and cuddles all day today. They sure all know how much they are loved
