My pup didn't have any problems with losing her baby teeth, except for the canines. The bottom canines did what you described, but they did loosen up and come out on their own.
The top two are hanging in there, and don't seem to be loosening up at all. The adult teeth came in right in front of the baby teeth, and there is plenty of room for both of them, so I am doubting that they are going to come out naturally. She's getting spayed week after next (she'll be 7 months old), and I will have them pulled during the spay (unless they seem to be getting noticeably loose). |
They are firmly anchored in. She is losing her mollars though. I am just worried because the baby canine on the bottom are pushing her adult canine pointing outwards. We will get her to another vet to check it out. My bf found a promotion deal that gives free vet exam for newcomers so hopefully that will help.
