So sorry, I'm just seeing this (just got my computer back). What were his private sessions for? Didn't he have a problem with your GD a while back? Has that been resolved or did that initiate the training?
My bigger Yorkie was a wild thing when we first got her a year ago, and a bit nippy, but she has really settled down (finally) to the point I'm beginning to trust her around kids and other people. She's such a moose, and when she's happy to see someone, she catapults herself through the air at them until she gets undivided attention. I think her problem stems from having too many owners, so when the same ones keep returning, she's just overjoyed. Basically, she knocks you down, then they all pile on for a lick fest!
