 It's me...
Since we have pups from the same litter, I just wanted to let you know that Tinkerbell was pretty bad too. We used the pennies in the can. When she would throw a temper tantrum with screaming as you described, we would shake the can really hard and say quiet. And repeat and repeat until she was quiet. It took quite a few times the first day, then she was good for a while then we had to do it again a couple days ago and now she is fine again. I also wanted to let you know, we started putting her crate in our room at night. I think she is really comforted by my husband's snoring! Any way she wimpers occasionally and we just tap the crate and say quiet. She shuts right up and lately I have been able to sleep in. No more 5 am starts to my day. Quiet! is the best word she has learned. How is Bailey doing otherwise... Is he 2 lbs. yet? |
