Thanks! Yes they aren't very good people at all and aparently pretty heartless. Even if they couldn't have paid for the damages, I would have been satisfied with an apology. On the bright side we just bought a new house and won't be anywhere near them any longer. The people that live next to them said the same dog has killed 6 of their cats as well as some goats. I guess animal control doesn't find that alarming enough to take further action.
