i waited to get Sofia fixed until she was older, 8 months because she was so small. She was still only 2.5lbs, when she had her surgery and they could not remove her baby teeth at the same time. She had that surgery a month later, still at 2.5lbs. She did great with both, I don't see any reason to do it too early, you just want to have it done before her first heat, you still have some time. As for the microchipping I would do it at the same time.
