seriously, just because i said i respect people more who admit to pricing dogs higher for a profit rather than saying "it has nothing to do with money" and then charging more for a female than a male doesn't mean i think it's "okay" to breed for profit. i am just looking at the facts - there are breeders who breed for profit.

i'd rather hear someone say, "i charge more for females because they're in high demand" than to give some excuse about why they do it that makes no sense at all.

furthermore, people looking for a pet don't breed as their pets are spayed or neutered...so what that has to do with the price of rice in china, i have no clue.

I don't expect you to cry why would I??

I don't respect anyone that is in it for profit but I guess that is where you and I differ....no one should charge more just because of demand....placing the puppy in the right home should be the main concern not the higher price...demand should be the last reason to be charging a higher price in my opinion and I do not respect that either...but I can't tell another breeder how to price their dogs even if I don't agree with it...I think it's not the way it should be done but it's their dogs not mine. My main concern is the safety of my pup and the it being the right family not because of demand or any other reason.
