Lol, I decided to google it, and it does mean the muzzle according to this website.
Dog Terminology. So a short foreface or muzzle is a recessive gene, and if both parents have a short muzzle you can be 100 percent sure the offspring will have a short muzzle. So I guess I stand by my statement of the apple not falling far from the tree.
