If collars become tangled up while two dogs are playing, then at least one collar is not properly adjusted. A harness is more likely to get snagged or caught up on something since it has way more straps and surface area. Just because one owner has a bad experience with a dog collar, for whatever the reason, does not mean all dog owners should not put them on their pets. People die and are injured from airbags and seatbelts too. But all new cars have them. D'oh!
As for some of you folks giving me eslaps to the back of the head, for being "rude" with my eyerolls and "D'oh" postings, I love you too! Did I strike a nerve perhaps? Only the TRUTH hurts you know. I find your logic as funny as your retorts. Now do me big favor and go kiss your dog in the mouth! ROTFLMAO! |
Dawg, you need a bit of a Chill pill here.
I don't think you struck a nerve here, but I am growing more concerned about your own nerves after reading your last paragraph, above. Btw, I actually think that lies hurt way more than truth.
Asking me to kiss my dogs on the mouth is no favor at all, so I would happy to - at least I can help you there.
For the record, btw, I do use collars on my boys - and this is a *risk* I take (they are chipped as well). Living in metro Phoenix, I feel it's the right thing to do, for now.
So anyway, here are the
