My mother used to be a beautician and every time I got a perm that was too tight she told me to wash it in baby shampoo a few times to help loosen it. That tells me it is too harsh.
I have a maltese with sensitive and dry skin problems and I've been using Solid Gold Products (they were at my local pet store) The conditioner is called Jojoba Oil hair and skin conditioner. I like it because you are supposed to leave some of the conditioner in the hair. You mix it with water, dump it all over their coat and then rinse out only half of it. You can mix it with water in a spray bottle and spray it on the dry skin areas in between bathing. It makes her coat feel so good and her skin seems to be doing better too. |
