Sometimes (like in the frozen North) people will freeze dead animals until such time as the ground is soft enough to bury them.
But Alabama doesn't get that cold ....
I certainly hope she wasn't "recycling" them for more food

I must say, I was really living in a little pink cloud concerning puppy mills until I came here. I knew they were bad, of course, but I didn't know HOW bad. I love my animals so much I just can't fathom how anyone could mistreat them that way. Pound for pound, my beasties eat better than WE do, and they're spoiled beyond words. I've had dogs all my life (and that's a BUNCHA years), and not a one of them has been an "animal": they've all been cherished family members (even when it wasn't cool
