I am going through the same thing with my Bitsy. She had the surgery a week ago and we are still waiting to find out what kind of stones they were. My vet thinks they are the calicium kind as well. She is having the same peeing accidents in the house and is still straining after her initial pee. My vet said it was because her bladder had been so inflamed that it needs time to get back to normal. She too, was just adopted 2 months ago by us so I am not sure how or if she was truly trained. She has been put on Royal Canin SO for LIFE!!!! It is a prescription food for the prevention of any further stones....your baby SHOULD be on something similar.
