He is 2 years old. House trained and we live in a condo. I leave him alone when I go out in the laundry room which is 9x13. But I want him to have the run of the home he is good. My problem is he will not let me out the front door with out barking. When he's in the laundry room he barks but no one can hear him. I throw yummies on the floor and by the time he;s finished with them he's tired and goes to sleep.

I do want to get a job where I will be gone for 5 or 6 hours and want him to enjoy all the space that I want him to have. Closed door for the bedrooms.

Any ideas??
