This weekend, I gave Trouble, my 4.5 month old male puppy, a smooth, light blue color, super hard plastic nylabone called "my little prince", or something like that.

I figured that it was such hard smooth plastic that there was no way trouble could break any part of it off. I was wrong.

After three days of monitored chewing, I noticed one of the ends of the bone was missing a massive chunk (way bigger than rice size, like the product claims). Imagine you cut off your pinky finger from the base of your nail...that's how big the piece of hard plastic is. Nylabones suck @$$.

Luckily, Trouble doesn't munch on or swallow hard, bitesize pieces of glass or plastic he finds in the carpet or on the floor.

I just wish he didn't hate the plastic taste of his kong and other squeeky toys. His favorite is the rope bones.
