Cry sleeping in family bed

I have a 9 month old yorkie, katie, that I have been home daily with since I got her at 10 weeks. She had some health problems when I got her and took alot of TLC. I am home all day and have potty trained and taught her to ring a bell, that I have hanging by the back door, when she wants to go out. I groom her, walk her, feed her, play with her, and love her beyond reason. Katie's bed is in the kitchen and she has always slept there, confined to this room by a child gate. Lately, we have let her into our bed for sleeping. PROBLEM: She INSISTS on cuddling up to my husband. When he got out of the car yesterday she got very aggitated and focused on watching for his return. He loves her and will walk her and take her out to potty when he's home.I'm so bummed! She's my dog, but I feel he's her favorite. Why?, and what can I do to change this. I know this sounds childish, but I'm heartbroken about this.
