Someone here on YT recommended corn starch and that is what I use on Buster. It works! I put the corn starch on the mat and rub it in the mat then it can be brushed or combed out. I don't know if it will work for that many mats. If you get him shaved and then start from there it will be easier. You have to pretty much brush him every day, don't forget the areas under the neck and in the "arm pit" area. Buster tends to get a lot of mats in these areas as well.
