The yorkie coat is so left open to interputation....the best I can explain it is a cotton coat feels like what a cotton ball would feel like and a wooly coat is the same as what I would consider a cotton coat as wooley and cotten are the same feel. Wirey is a very coarse texture like hard feeling. A silky coat is a very fine like satin/silk feel, cool to the touch. Once you feel a silky coat you'll never forget It's the prefered coat texture.
Then you can get into a modified silk or a soft coat textures...but again it's so left up to interputation as to what others will tell you. This is all how I interpute the textures
