I have to agree! My husband and I say hello to everyone we pass when walking the dogs. Do we get a response? No! It is very hard to find nice people these days.
Like you said, if you were there, you would have had plenty more to say to that girl, but that type of person could care less. It is hard to take someone's word at face value anymore. You know, back in the day, when you promised something, it was their word.
And for her to make fun of what he said about your furbabies! People just don't get it! I hope you and your dh enjoyed the rest of your day, in spite of what she said.
