 UGH! Why are people rude?
Yesterday, we had a really long day. We woke up at 4 am to feed the homeless and we were heading home about 6 pm. Anyway, when we were done my brother called my husband and asked him to come to his apartment to help him move in an entertainment center he was getting from a neighbor. My husband left and my brother was calling the person in his apartment so when my DH got there she would be ready to let them in. Well, she never answered her phone! He waited 30 minutes and she never answered. So, my brother decided to walk my DH down to his car. They ran into the girl, apparently she sold it to someone else and just didnt want to face my brother.
So, my husband says "ya know, you really shouldnt treat people like this. I have been up since 4 and drove 30 miles to come help move it in his apartment, I could be at home with my wife and yorkies. you should have just been honest and told him you got rid of it". Instead of aplogizing to him, she starts laughing because he said he wanted to be with his wife and yorkies. He said, what? Those are my kids & I only have 1 day off.
Needless to say, when he got home he was MAD. I just wonder why people have to be this way? What was so funny about that? They are our kids, we dont have skin babies. I think it was rude. Not to mention wasted an hour and half of his time when he could have been resting.
It just got on my nerves. I probably would have said more than he did if she laughed at me. |
