I am also just starting to learn how to show my puppy and I am a fulltime college student. There is a lot to learn and its very fun. It has cost a great deal of money but its all worth it and once you find the products and utensils that work for your dog it is much better. The most helpful part of showing is that I have had several mentors and lots of help when getting started. With the right resources and help it will make things easier but it can be done. Good luck.
