I don't know if this is a "Urban Legend" or "Not" , But is still makes sense that we are all careful when out Holiday Shopping. 
Imagine: You walk across the Parking lot; unlock your car and get inside.
Then you lock all your doors, start the engine and shift into reverse,
You look into the rear view mirror to back out of your parking space
and you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window.
So, you shift into PARK, open your door and jump out of your car to remove that paper, or whatever it is, that is obstructing your view.
Before you reach the back of your car, the car-jackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off!!
They didn't even have to start your car remember, the engine was running, and they practically mow you down as they speed off in your car. And ladies, remember, your purse in the car — your money, credit cards, driver's license, social security number, home address, and no telling what other information that might prove valuable to this thief. BE AWARE THAT THIS NEW SCHEME IS NOW BEING USED.
Just drive away and remove the paper that is stuck to your window later,
and be thankful that you read this email.

As noted earlier, your purse contains all of your identification and you certainly DO NOT want someone getting your home address.
Remember, THEY PROBALY ALSO HAVE YOUR HOUSE-KEYS. And daytime home invasions with concommitant personal assault are becoming commonplace today.
This scheme has been reported to have occurred in the states of : Arizona, California, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New Hampshire, Ohio,
Tennessee, and Vermont.
We are asking that anyone traveling within these states be mindful of this threat. Especially within their major cities.
