I couldn't tell you why they weighed her in the back, but they wouldn't let you restrain her because it is a liability issue for them. Since so many people want to sue in the US now, vets are very cautious about this type of thing. If the owner is hurt by their own dog on vet's property, owner can still sue... It just makes vets more comfortable to let the techs restrain. They are also trained to do it (well, sometimes
). Obviously you weren't at all comfortable there, so I'd continue to look.
What vaccines were given?
Are her gums pink?
Is she eating, drinking, pooping, and peeing?
