I think it all really depends on both of the dogs. My brother has a full grown 140 lb doberman and he gets along so well with my little 4 lb yorkie. However, neither of them gets along with my sister-in-law's 10 lb dachshund or 100 lb boxer. There's no telling who is going to get along with whom, you just have to be careful and keep everyone on a tight leash and in neutral territory until they're comfortable with each other.
