so to clear something up for myself its not when they start bleeding its when they start ovulating. i was confused because from what ive read in the books is that the heat lasts 3 weeks and she should attract males from when she starts bleeding. and i just wanted to say im not depending on the diapers and the belly band i just thought he would be out of control. she actully spends alot of time on my lap and he spends alot of time with my daughter in her room but they have them on as one more precation so there is no excuse for an unplanned pregnancy. she has gone into heat not even a week after i learned i shouldnt breed them. the vet wants me to wait until her heat is over they said i can make an appointment any day after shes done.there not over booked great vet too.
