Until you get a diagnosis, limit exercise and try to restrain exitability or situations that lead to it. Check your pup's mouth for any hair or foreign object that may be causing it. Reverse sneezing normally happens occassionally, and shouldn't 'get worse'. Getting worse may indicate dog is trying to clear something from it's mouth, throat or airway. Collapsed Trachea is managed by meds and limiting exercise/excitement which can cause coughing which in turn aggravates the trachea making coughing worse, and can damage the trachea.
