Thanks Brit....yes, he always goes to our friends house who have 2 Westies (unaltered) and never marks at their house (to my knowledge.) I hope this doesn't become a habit. I would rather try to train him to stop than get belly bands. We'll see. He never has done this in the past and he has been to his sitters sooooooo many times.

Would either of the other three dogs in the house be female..who may have had a recent heat? Even altered dogs may respond instinctually to those kind of smells.
