Canela has done with with me before.
Usually, I place her on my bed when I'm working at the desk...twice, she's accidentally done this, once while sleeping, the other, when I hadn't learn her cues for a emergency potty break.
Once she's gone...I hear her grabbing my blanket (which is her favorite and enough to wrap even an Irish Wolfhound twice over) and throwing a part that isn't wet, over the part this is.
I've always thought of it as her not wanting me to say something to her about it and thus, she hides it.
