 What if I have to go to the hospital
Hi all,
I've never had to think about this before, but at this point in my life I find myself with no support system nearbye. Hope it does not last forever, but I had been thinking while taking care of my dad, who has dementia, "what happens if I get sick and have to go to the hospital?" My family would probably be able to take my dad or he would have to go into a home, but my babies, what would become of them? There would be no one to care for my two loves. They would surely die. Cassie is 2.5 lbs and Muffin is 3.5 lbs. They are so tiny and now I am very worried about what ifs. I have no neighbors that I am close to as everyone is very insular here. My family is far away and does not like little dogs anyway. I'm not sure what to do. What do other people do? Does anyone have any suggestions?
