But...now she has figured out all she has to do is lick it off. She will eat a treat and a baby carrot but refuses her food. I've tried to mix a different food in with hers (puppy Innova) still wont eat it just a bite or two. If anyone has an idea of something I can try let me know. I'm going to try cooking for her tonight and see how that goes. I will be calling the vet Monday and getting his feed back.
Sound like your girl is with whelp. At times they go off food, but usually about the 3rd week....experience morning sickness. They have that whole harmonal thing going on, tummy is a bit upset and their taste buds are a bit off. Don't let her go too long....there is the whelping pudding receipe sticky...try some of that on her, adding a bit of cottage cheese to her food or a sprinkle of parmasean cheese...I recently had two girls go off food from the time they came into "Season" until well after the pups were whelped...talk about a nightmare...attempting to find what they would eat and then spoon feeding them......
