Star I live in Canton (about ten minutes from you) and I can tell you right now, what is happening is ILLEGAL. If you have a signed copy of your lease, that is a legal document that will not expire until the date of YOUR personal lease expires. In fact, my mom went through this in her apartment complex, and in the case of legalities, they couldn't even legally make tenants who moved in under the "pets allowed" lease to get rid of their pets when their lease was up and they renewed their lease....they just drafted a new lease for new tenants. It was a biiiiiig expensive legal battle.

What your rental property is doing is illegal, wrong, and in the long run very expensive for them. If you know other neighbors, you don't have to stand for this!

I'd be very interested to see which rental property it is you are living in. Like I said, I live in Canton, MA...... I am VERY close to you, so PM me if you want and I'll be as much help as I possibly can be!!!! I also may know people in the area who may want the dog if you cannot keep him, although like I said, this shouldn't be the outcome of this situation.
