And he didn't run!! It's like he knew I was trapped. And just to add insult to injury...he was perched about 3 inches above the "you can get in, but you can't get out" sticky trap we keep by the basement door for unwelcome visitors like him. My daughter was in the kitchen above the landing, and came to my rescue. The only thing I hate about Spring in Michigan is centipede's and June bugs!! |

My mom gets centipedes in her basement too, and they love that landing as well. Nothing like walking back up (or trying to!) and seeing one perched just inches from your face. I swear you're right...it's as though they know they have us trapped and are just mocking us!
