That is a very adorable dish! My suggestion would be to take into consideration your relationship with your son's fiancé and her personality. My mom has made the most wonderful crochet quilts/comforters (don't know which is the right word) and table cloths. Some are hand embroidered. She spent countless hours working on these since I was small, and I even had a hand at working on these with them. That's how she taught me to crochet. Her biggest fear is passing something she worked on so hard to my brothers if their future wives won't value the craftsmanship and love she has put into each handmade object. (she made one for each of us) I think she said I'll end up inheriting them all as I do know the value of her work, and have even put in a little work in them as well. Hope this helps!
