Yes, we did lose a child, and I guarantee you, if any parent gets a call that your child was hurt, the last thing they will do it get on the PC. That's really all I will say. Everyone has opinions. You are certainly entitled to yours. |
I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my little 5 year old brother in 2006, therefore my mom and stepdad lost their child. He died in a drowning at a public pool. It's been a terrible journey these past 3, almost 4 years, and I never wish it upon anyone. So I truly am sorry for your loss. Sorry to go totally off topic and I do agree with your last statement. I understand everyone deals with it differently, but when I first heard the news of my brother, I collapsed to my knees and felt like I couldn't breathe. Computers, phones, etc were the last thing on my mind. With that said, you're absolutely right it wasn't the place to debate pit bulls but I think it's inevitable, as it's happned in every dog attack thread on YT pretty much. I am guilty of giving a thumbs up to the poster who started the pit bull defense but it wasn't the place.
