Vets don't know everything!! And they all don't agree on all the same things anyhow!
But i am not a bit surprised you would ask for advice, then tell us your going to do it your way anyhow and throwing out what all the people here have advised you to do and not to do, and why!
Personally I feel yorkies, and other small toys should NEVER be ran. A walk, sure but not running. get a bigger dog if you want it to go on runs with you.
