Cali was suspected to have MVD based on her Bile Acid tests and then when she came into heat we thought she had a bowel obstruction too so a board certified surgeon did her spay, during heat, and a liver and intestinal biopsies. She had a longer recovery and was only done during her heat cycle because of the possible obstruction. If at all possible they wait until 6-8 weeks after heat cycle ends. |
