If it was just the Yorkie, they would look brand new and they are only 5 years old. Now if she does have an accident she will pick out a nice hand woven Oriental! Why would she foe on the floor when there are comfotable wool rugs around?

so true! dogs like to go in soft places by nature - grass, dirt, carpet, etc.
i guess if soft spots aren't available, they'll go where they can go! but if given a choice - they'll go on that nice soft place - regardless of the price!
