That's 25 less than I paid each way! I honestly think that as long as you are prepared with all the paperwork, the pups essentials, and he/she isn't noisy, flying is no big deal. I'm no expert, but I sure didn't hide my pup at the airport. While we were waiting to board, my family and I sat in a corner away from everyone on an isolated row of seats in front of a big window. Kaji was able to watch all the planes prep and take off, and passengers as well as employees of the airline and airport came over to say hi and "ohh and aww" over my pup. Same for the trip home. I was only asked once to pick him up as we were walking through the airport. I don't know if this is normal, but as long as no one was bothered (he wasn't being loud and he's really well behaved) no one seemed to mind he was out. He had a smooth flight while I panicked!
